On Wednesday 11th October 2023 representatives from the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society attended the prestigious Farming Life Awards at the Crowne Plaza, Belfast.
The Society was delighted to be awarded the accolade of ‘Event of the Year’ for the 2023 Balmoral Show. This annual awards ceremony aims to recognise ‘the talent, entrepreneurship and excellence that exists across the full range of business and commerce in the area, paying homage to the long history of individual and collective industry upon which local farming has taken root and flourished and the individuals and organisations which carry on that tradition today’.
This award is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion of the incredible team of stewards, committees, officials and staff who put in endless hours to make the Balmoral Show a resounding success.
RUAS President Christine Adams, alongside Ashleigh McGrugan, Lizanne Gibson, Edwin Adams, Gemma Dickey and Kendall Johnston represented the Society and had the honour of accepting the award on the Society’s behalf.
