From the Women's Institute competitions to the famously fun Mascot Race
The 'Planting Memories' horticulture competition is now open.
This year the theme is capturing 170 years of the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society in the container of your choice.
Everyone is welcome to enter this competition and entry is free.
There will be 3 age categories: Pre-School/Primary school, 12-17 years old and an over 18 category.
The closing date for entry is Friday 12th April 2024.

Come join in the fun with your company mascot! With thrills, spills and battles to cross the finish line, its unsurprising that crowds flock to catch the infamous Mascot Race in the Main Arena.
This fun competition allows your brand to get their name out there and join in the chaos that's sure to unfold.
Date: Saturday 18th May 2024
Time: 3:15pm
Prizes: First place will receive £150 off their trade stand rental for Balmoral Show 2025 and runners up will receive prizes for runners on the day.
All entries should be in full costume and over 16 years of age. There will be heats and the top two winners of each heat will go forward to the final race.
