This year Translink is encouraging visitors to travel by bus or train to enjoy the familiar sights and sounds of the Show.
This year the Show, running from 22-25 September at Balmoral Park, Lisburn, will be serviced by a schedule of enhanced rail services, regional coach day tours and a free shuttle bus from Lisburn Train Station, operating approximately every 10 minutes at peak times.
Commenting on the return of the popular event, which is in it’s 152nd year, Gordon Milligan from Translink, said:
“We’re delighted to see the return of the Balmoral Show, which is loved by people of all ages across Northern Ireland and further afield. With so many bus and rail options available, including a free shuttle bus from Lisburn Station, it’s now even easier to leave the car and home and make it a hassle-free journey.”
