CLASSES:
The Championship finals will take place at Balmoral Show on Friday 17th May 2024 in the Main Arena.
The Championship is restricted to those who have pre-qualified. 3 horse/rider combinations in each class may qualify at each qualifying venue. Riders can ride 2 horses per class in the final. Only the horse/rider combination that qualify will be allowed to compete at Balmoral Show.
We are delighted to announce funding of €8,000 has been awarded to Balmoral Show from the Horse Sport Ireland Breeding Grant initiative. This additional prize money will be split between the breeders, owners and riders across both the Five Year Old and the Six & Seven Year Old classes.
Prize winners must submit full payment details to HSI via the linked payment form within 14 days of the competition or they will not receive prize money. A ‘success letter’ will be emailed to prize winners detailing the placing and amount awarded. This letter includes details on how competitors can redeem their prizes.
The horse must be registered in the correct ownership to be in receipt of prize funds. Breeder’s prizes will only be paid to breeders residing on the island of Ireland. Riders will not receive prize funds until HSI has received permission, in writing or via email, from the registered owner of the horse. All entrants must ensure all information provided is accurate up to date.
