BALMORAL SHOW, 16th – 18th MAY, 2012

Another great Show!

The Balmoral Show in partnership with Ulster Bank is Ireland’s largest Agricultural and Food Show that entertains the whole family. 

The 144th Show offers its usual extravaganza of colour, competition and showmanship along with daily displays of pedigree horses, ponies, cattle, sheep, poultry, pigs and goats.


 

Hundreds of trade stands will cover the Showgrounds offering visitors a wide range of products from organic foods, holidays and leisure products to agri machinery, equipment and 4x4 vehicles. 

Around the Showgrounds there will be lots happening to keep the crowds entertained, including Falconry, Sheep Shearing Competitions, Balmoral Food Village, Children’s Farm, Equestrian Stunt Team, Show Stage, Craft Village and much much more.

Children will be entertained within the dedicated Kids Zone, with the children’s' farm, an egg hatchery, bungee trampoline, climbing wall and children’s’ rides.

The Garden Village played host to a variety of gardening demonstrations, covering a wide variety of subjects including hanging baskets and woodturning.

The 2010 School's Trail was a hit with students and teachers once again.  The colourful child friendly packs  are both fun and educational and thirteen point trail of discovery around the grounds were enjoyed by many children.
