RUAS announce change of date for the 2021 Balmoral Show

11th Dec 2020

The Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS) has today announced that the 2021 Balmoral Show will move from its usual May date for one year only and will instead take place from Wednesday 22nd September to Saturday 25th September 2021.

Alan Crowe, RUAS Chief Executive, said: ‘It was a huge disappointment for so many when we had to cancel this year’s Show due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and so we are pleased to bring Balmoral back for 2021.  We believe that moving the Show to mid-September allows more time for restrictions to be eased, the roll out of the vaccine to take place and life to get back to normality.  We all greatly missed the Balmoral Show this year and cannot wait to get planning for 2021.’’

Northern Ireland’s largest agri-food event, in association with principal sponsor Ulster Bank, once again promises four fun-filled days for all the family.  Taking place at Balmoral Park, Lisburn from 22nd -25th September 2021, the Show prides itself on offering something for everyone.  Whether you’re looking for a family day out, fantastic food or the chance to see exceptional livestock displays, it’s all in the Show.

The 2022 Show is scheduled to take place from 11th-14th May 2022
