The Main Arena has many attractions throughout the four days of the Show. Including Matt Coulter, also known as the Kangaroo Kid, a world class stuntman from Brisbane, Australia. Most of his daredevil stunts are performed on a quad bike. The Balmoral Showgoers will enjoy a breath-taking performance with adrenaline and excitement guaranteed.
Other attractions in the Main Arena include the Rockmount Dog Display team and the Ballylone Concert Flute Band.
The Main Arena is also home to International Showjumping classes at the Show as well as the stunning parade of cattle which showcases winners and breeds. For a full schedule click here (available early 2017)
Balmoral Show attracts top quality livestock, all competing for prized red rosettes
and prestigious Balmoral Championship titles. With over 3500 animals entered, the excellence and variety on show is unrivalled in Northern Ireland. There are livestock classes for a variety of farm animals from cattle, sheep, pigs and goats to poultry, rabbits and even eggs.
The SPAR Arena is a dedicated area for fun family entertainment. The packed out timetable will ensure bustling crowds as visitors are educated and entertained with a variety of acts including everything from jiving demonstratiosn and competition to Trial Star and 'Anyone for tennis?' comedy entertainment.

Balmoral Show attracts many top international riders from home and abroad who compete in 7 International competitions which take place over the Wednesday to Friday of the Show. Names such as GB’s Geoff Billington and Ireland’s Olympic competitor Greg Broderick compete for top titles. National show jumping competitions also fill the Main Arena. The 2017 Equine programme has expanded due to the exciting announcement of a four day Show, to include all Ireland Schools Show jumping Championship and an under 10's Pony Grand Prix.
The Children's Farm is an abundance of cute, cuddly baby farm animals. Children are given the opportunity to hold, stroke and even feed the baby animals provided by Ark Open Farm. Visitors also have the chance to meet snakes, tarantulas etc from Mantella - their aim is to bring you up close and personal to weird and wonderful animals from around the World with their popular Zoo-to-you Interactive Animal Encounters.
The Garden Village will entice and excite green fingered enthusiasts. The area will feature a show garden and trade stands. 2016 saw the introduction of edible gardens in a poly tunnel, which we can look forward to again this year. Ulster Beekeepers and CAFRE will provide interactive areas as well as herb and wildlife gardens. The Garden Village can be a tranquil area away from the hustle and bustle of the Show
Over 90 local food and drink companies are getting ready to celebrate the best of local produce in the NI Food Pavilion at the Balmoral Show 2017.

The Inter Hunt Chase is the exciting finale to the Balmoral Show and takes place in the Main Arena on Saturday at 4pm. It is fast, exciting and a great spectator sport.
A local hunt team will be parading on Thursday before the Horse Parade. The huntsman will give a demonstration on hound control during the parade with a running commentary about the history of the hunt.
There are 700+ trade stands situated all over the showgrounds. From farm and plant machinery to crafts and food, there are trade stands to suit everyone.
Come and see the various shearing and wool handling competitions which will take place over the four days in the Shearing Pavilion. It is fast, exciting and very competitive. It is said
that to become a top shearer, you need the eyes and skill of a marksman, the
stamina of a marathon runner and the ability to out-sprint the rivals.

With the new four day format for 2017, Thursday will be the main Young Farmers' day, with machinery handling, ladies football and the exciting tug of war held on the cattle lawn. The final of the floral art competition will also take place on the Thursday morning in the Garden Village. Also make sure you visit the YFCU stand in Section B and find out how to join a club near you and all the different activities that you could be involved in.
Lely in association with Draynes Farm, will again host a live milking exhibition at the Balmoral Show. Forty cows from Draynes Farm will be milked with a Lely Astronaut A4
robotic milking system. Dairy farmers and the general public will have the
opportunity of experiencing firsthand how the whole system works, which will be
a first for many.
The show is a sensory and emotional experience from start to finish. Even when you are walking from place to place along the streets and paths, our street performers will be entertaining you with colourful and comedy costumes, silly antics and rousing
Entertainment this year will come from Titan the Robet and Big Rory and Ochie amoung others.
Launched at Balmoral Show in 1994 Friends of Ferguson Heritage has grown to be the biggest one make tractor club in Europe. Vintage tractors and machinery from times gone by will be on display in the Garden Village.
Beside the Eikon Exhibition Centre (Shopping Village) you will find the funfair which is full of rides and games to entertain all ages.
The WI Pavilion located near the NI Food Pavilion has a warm welcome and lovely homemade goodies in their tea room as well as art, crafts and baking exhibits all looking to gain a 1st prize red rosette.
The Donkey Society will be at the Show to demonstrate the qualities and skills possessed by donkeys. There will be a display of donkeys in the Horse Rings on all four days of the Show.
