Stunning winner of GOSH Cosmetics Best Dressed Competition
The GOSH! Cosmetics Best Dressed Competition was won by the stylish Hannah Lilburn who looked picture perfect in a silver and white dress with an oversized bow and white fitted jacket.
Hannah, who normally shows livestock at the Show decided to give up her wellies for a pair of killer heels and for her efforts she has won an array of amazing prizes. These include a GOSH! Cosmetics hamper full of their fantastic product range including the new bohemian inspired spring collection, a Cut and Blow Dry courtesy of Lee Stinton, a one on one make up session with Paddy McGurgan and an Italian holiday courtesy of Topflight - the Italian Specialists, who are delighted to announce their sponsorship, for the third year running, of the Best Dressed Competition prize. The fantastic prize on offer this year is a week at the 4* Hotel Cambridge in Lido di Jesolo.
The runner up prize this year went to Danielle Hammond from Ballynahinch. Danielle takes home a GOSH Cosmetics Hamper and dinner for two at Deane’s at Queen’s.
Registration opened at 12 noon, and entrants had the chance to meet with the judges, and also get a sneaky peek at their competition! The judges were IN! Magazine’s Lisa and Hayley Harrison, Fashion Pharmacy’s Cathy Martin, Lee Stinton from Paul Stafford and make-up artist to the stars Paddy McGurgan.
“We absolutely loved runner up Danielle’s floral headpiece, which she created herself and wore in place of a hat. And as an architecture student, it is a great reflection of her. Her lace dress added a pretty hint of vintage too. The winner Hannah won the judges over with her slightly more conservative but equally impressive outfit – she had a perfect mix of designer, high street and handmade elements - including a bespoke headpiece - to make this a winning combination.” said Cathy Martin.
“The style and standard in general was absolutely fabulous and we were really pleased with everyone who turned up. It was a difficult decision and we actually ended up having words on the judging panel! But we were delighted with our winner and Hannah was definitely ‘Best in Show’ in the fashion stakes.”
The new GOSH! Style Centre where the best dressed competition took place was a welcome addition to the King’s Hall. Members of the public were treated to modern and Irish dance displays and numerous daily demonstrations focusing on sizzling fashion, beauty and hair trends.
Cool FM’s Pete Snodden was the host of the competition and announced Hannah as the winner shortly after 2pm on Friday 14th May.
