GOSH! It?s Showtime...
The Balmoral Show in partnership with Ulster Bank is only a few weeks away, so time is of the essence to start planning your perfect outfit if you want to impress at the GOSH Cosmetics Best Dressed Competition on Friday 14th May which will take place in the brand new GOSH Cosmetics Ladies Style Centre.
The new area is dedicated to all things fabulous and is located on the King’s Hall balcony.
The experts from fashion pharmacy will be on hand hosting numerous daily demonstrations focusing on sizzling fashion, beauty and hair trends and giving out day-to-day tips on keeping Balmoral Show visitors looking good – from head to toe.
TV stylist and director of FASHIONWEEK Cathy Martin will talk fashion and style, discussing body shapes as well as this season’s latest trends and how to wear them – from florals on the beach to military at work and everything in between…
Make-up artist Paddy McGurgan will give handy hints on how to achieve the most glamorous celebrity make up looks. Paddy understands skin and make up and he’ll be on hand on the GOSH Style Stage to talk face to face with visitors about blusher and bronzer and this season’s prettiest colours.
Award-winning hair stylist Lee Stinton from Paul Stafford’s busy BT9 salon is taking time out from his two week waiting list to talk tresses at this year’s Show. Lee will be working on practical, wearable and chic looks for day-to-day wear in the city – or the country…
There will also be daily appearance from the Royal Tara Dance Academy and acrobatic performances in between demonstrations.

These include a GOSH Cosmetics hamper full of the fantastic product range including the new bohemian inspired spring collection, a Cut and Blow Dry courtesy of Lee Stinton, a one on one make up session with Paddy McGurgan and an Italian holiday courtesy of Topflight - the Italian Specialists, who are delighted to announce their sponsorship, for the third year running, of the Best Dressed Competition prize. The fantastic prize on offer this year is a week at the 4* Hotel Cambridge in Lido di Jesolo, with breakfast and evening meals included, as well as direct flights from Belfast, airport to hotel transfers & Topflight rep service for any assistance during the holiday.
The runner up prize this year is the Mini GOSH Cosmetics Hamper and Dinner for two at Deane’s at Queen’s.
The competition takes place on Friday of the Show and registration will open at 12 noon, where entrants have the chance to meet with the judges, and also get a sneaky peek at their competition! Cool FM’s familiar face Pete Snodden will compere the competition and will announce the lucky winners at 2.30pm.
