Balmoral Show Investment in Show Jumping Facilities

In preparation for the 2010 Balmoral Show in partnership with Ulster Bank, the RUAS have made a substantial investment by completing a major overhaul of the sand practice ménage, adjacent to the International Show Jumping Arena.   The work which included replacing the existing ménage and installing additional drainage is now complete and was officially opened and tested by Irish Rider Lucy Buchanan, at the Balmoral Show launch on Tuesday 30th March.


There are six international show jumping classes, two each day, including the feature event - Vodafone Grand Prix with a prize find of £14,000 on Friday afternoon.


There is already a substantial amount of interest from riders from GB and further afield with International Entries closing on Wednesday 7th April at 4pm.
