Livestock Entries

The Balmoral Show is Northern Ireland’s number one agricultural event which rewards the dedication and commitment of individuals who strive to produce pedigree livestock.

2012 Close of entry dates

  • Horses, Ponies, Sheep & Sheep Young Handlers entries close Wednesday 7th March at 5pm.
  • Beef Cattle, Dairy Stalls, Beef/Dairy Young Handlers, Goats, Pigs preliminary entries, Pig Young Handers, Poultry, Pigeons, Eggs and Rabbit entries close Wednesday 21st March at 5pm.
  • Dairy Cattle final entries Wednesday 18th April at 5pm stalls to be booked by Wednesday 21st March at 5pm.
  • Sheep Shearing Competitions entries close Friday 4th May at 4pm.
  • Show Jumping Competitions (International) entries close Wednesday 18th April.
  • Pigs final entries Friday 13th April 4pm. 

Of course you can still register via post.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL ENTRY FORMS AND REMITTANCE FORMS HAVE A SIGNATURE, OTHERWISE THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Class 43 -  Mare or Gelding, 4 years old, over 148cm, maximum height of fences to be 3'3''. Click here.

Class 44 - Mare or Gelding, 5 or 6 years old, over 148cm, maximum height of fences to be 3'6''. Click here.

Class 45 - Mare or Gelding, 7 years old and over, over 148cm, maximum height of fences to be 3'9''. Click here.

2011 Working Hunter Pony Marking Sheets

Class 62 - Pony, Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 133cm, suitable for and to be ridden by riders who have not attained their 12th birthday on 1st January. Phases 1 & 2. Click here.

Class 63 - Pony, Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 133cm, ridden by riders who have not attained their 14th birthday before 1st January. Phases 1 & 2. Click here.
